Will Broscious began his fire service career in 2004 in South Carolina, starting as a volunteer and later joining the Greenville City Fire Department (GCFD) in 2005. He progressed to Lieutenant, serving in roles such as Fire Inspector, CRR Coordinator, and Public Information Officer. Notably, he secured two Fire Prevention and Safety Grants and established GCFD’s first CRR team. Concurrently, he volunteered and worked part-time at Belmont Fire Rescue, advancing to Captain.
In 2018, Will became the Volunteer Coordinator for the Columbia Fire Department, achieving the rank of Battalion Chief. His leadership enhanced volunteer recruitment and policies, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Promoted to Division Chief in 2021, he now oversees the Accreditation and CRR Division.
