Gary McCarraher is the senior public safety advisor for the fire service for the First Responder Network Authority (FRNA). He has 45 years of experience with fire and EMS including serving as fire chief of three fire departments. Additionally, he was a local emergency management director for 20 years. Prior to working for the FRNA, McCarraher was an adjunct professor in fire and emergency management subjects at the undergraduate and graduate level. He holds a master’s degree in public administration.
