Forrest Cockcroft is currently the Deputy Chief of Operations for the Charleston, SC, Fire Department. He is a 31-year veteran having served at all ranks within operations with time in the Training Division and Professional Services Division. Cockcroft has been a member of the HazMat Team and served as the first Team Commander for the Marine Division. He earned a M.S. in Executive Fire Service Leadership and a B.S. in Public Safety Administration from Grand Canyon University, and an A.S. in Fire Science from Keiser University. Cockcroft is a graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program, a credentialed Chief Fire Officer and a Member with the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE).
