Josh Raeben has served the FDNY since 2014 and been in the fire service since 2003 as a volunteer. He is currently assigned to the FDNY Bureau of Training where he leads many of the leadership and professional development opportunities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Crisis, Emergency, and Risk Management from The George Washington University. He has an extensive Information Technology background, has been a key player in numerous executive level initiatives. As a volunteer of over 20 years, he has experience as a Chief Officer, and also has spent time in combination departments in MD and CO. He completed the National Fire Academy Managing Officer Program, is currently in the Executive Fire Officer cohort and is a CPSE credentialed as a Chief Fire Officer.
