Josh Raeben has served the FDNY since 2014 and been in the fire service since 2003 as a volunteer. He is currently assigned to the FDNY Bureau of Training where he leads many of the leadership and professional development opportunities. He holds a bachelor of science in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Crisis, Emergency, and Risk Management from George Washington University. Raeben has an extensive information technology background and has been a key player in numerous executive level initiatives. As a volunteer of over 20 years, he has experience as a chief officer and spent time in combination departments in Colorado and Maryland. He completed the National Fire Academy Managing Officer Program and is currently in the Executive Fire Officer cohort and holds a Chief Fire Officer designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence.
